Detail pages now support shareable section links. Click the # symbol next to any section heading to get a direct URL to that section.

Why This Matters

When discussing specific aspects of an item, like airline compatibility or Reddit mentions, you can now link directly to that section instead of sending someone to the top of the page.

For example:

  • /d/onebag/aer-travel-pack-3/#features → jumps to the Features checklist
  • /d/airlines/southwest/#mentions → jumps to Reddit mentions

How It Works

Hover over any section heading on a detail page to reveal the # link. Click it to update your browser's URL with the section anchor. The page will scroll to that section, accounting for the sticky header.

On mobile, the # is always subtly visible (no hover required).

Other Fixes

We fixed a layout issue where the header and footer appeared narrower than the page content on tablet-sized screens (576-1023px). All three elements now properly align across all viewport sizes.

The /tags/ index page has been removed since it wasn't seeing much use. Individual tag pages (like /tags/ultralight/) still work; just click any tag in a post to see all posts with that tag.
